Coxmoor Golf Club - Home Club of Touring Professionals Oliver Wilson & Greg Owen.
Coxmoor Golf Club is proud to be the home club of PGA Professionals Greg Owen and Oliver Wilson. Both Greg and Oliver are Honorary Members of Coxmoor and remain pleased to be referred to as 'Playing out of Coxmoor Golf Club'.
This brief introduction is to welcome both member and visitor to the Coxmoor Golf Club Website. We hope that you will find it of use with the various headings directing you to the area of your interest.
There is a Member's Area that can be accessed by Coxmoor Members exclusively, giving information about the course, committee meetings, social activities etc.
The Diary pages are updated regularly and contain information of events on the Course and in the Clubhouse.
The course is heathland and was established in 1913. The Regional Qualifier for the Open was held at Coxmoor in 1992 and 1993 and again from 1996 to 2001 and we are hopeful that it will return in the near future. In August 2008 the Club hosted the Reid Trophy, the under-14 Boy's International. The Club was proud to host this tournament, which is recognition of the quality the Course can offer. In 2012 the quality of the course was again recognised when The R&A brought the British Boys qualifying rounds to Coxmoor.
Our Professionals, Craig Wright and Matt Whall have their details on 'The Professional' pages. These pages will give you information direct from the Pro's Shop relating to coaching and any special offers that are a vailable. Assistants, Tom Cumberland and Rhiannon Linacre, are also on hand to give advice and assistance.
The Club has an excellent team to support the membership, from the Green staff; the Bar & Catering staff plus the Administration and Maintenance/Security staffs. We hope that everyone who uses the Club finds it a welcoming and friendly place but particularly that they enjoy their golf.
