The Captain of Coxmoor

 It is my honour to be Captain of Coxmoor Golf Club and to represent the members of the club for this year.

We are extremely proud of our heathland course, celebrating our Centenary in 2013.Recent subtle improvements ensure that players of all abilities will find a fair but challenging test of golf in a unique setting close to Sherwood Forest.

Coxmoor has hosted many prestigious events; Open Qualifiers; Midland Regional Competitions for Gents and Ladies and will be a venue for the British Boys Open Qualifier in 2011.

European and American Touring Professionals Oliver Wilson and Greg Owen are honorary members of the club and still retain strong links with us.Coxmoor also boasts three former Walker Cup representatives.

For myself,one of the most important aspects of our club is the welcome everyone who is part of it gives to all our guests, whether for business or pleasure and hope that you will leave us with a desire to return again.
