The Lady Captain's Day took place on Tuesday 16th August and was a huge success. Well supported by friends and family, Sandy conjured up some rather unusual theming, which proved an interesting distraction from the golf. On the first tee, emphasis was placed on the British Heart Foundation, with some unruly red helium balloons providing props. Everyone took part in good spirit and posed for photos, some performing what looked like CPR (purely for the pictures) and golfed with equal fervour. Many good scores were returned on the day and the winners received lovely prizes at the prize giving in the evening. The Lady Captain thanked everyone who had been involved in hosting of the event, paying triute to the fantastic food provided by the catering team.
